Our conservation areas have something for everyone! Whether you’re looking for a pretty picnic spot, a secluded trail or a boat launch, you’ll always find something to do at our properties.
Boating
We offer motorboat launches with docks at two conservation areas:

Paddlecrafts
Launch your canoe, kayak or other paddlecraft to enjoy a close-up view of our wonderful waterways! We offer formal and informal launches at several of our conservation areas:

Hiking
Most of our sites offer hiking of some kind. Our top hiking destinations include:
- Foley Mountain (10 km)
- Mill Pond (6 km)
- Baxter (5 km)
- Meisel Woods (5 km)
- Perth Wildlife Reserve (3.5 km)
Swimming
We maintain three public beaches across the watershed:
Parking fees apply at all three sites.
Please note there are no lifeguards on duty at any of our beaches.
Dogs are not allowed on our beaches but dog swimming areas may be available. See site pages for information.
Programs
We offer day camps, forest school and outdoor education programs for schools, community groups and families at Baxter Conservation Area and Foley Mountain Conservation Area. Learn more on our outdoor education page!
